SOPHIE PRANA ORGANIZED `THE RAW TRANSITION´ , A WORKSHOP ABOUT RAW FOOD AND NUTRITION - HOW AND WHY TO CHANGE TO A RAW VEGAN LIFESTYLE
This year I came to India in pretty bad health conditions. I had overworked myself during summer and my body reacted with food allergies to the stress symptoms. In the beginning I thought it was parasites, then I though it is a histamine intolerance, I ran from doctor to doctor to find out, that I am actually healthy.
I decided to go raw the day I came to Goa, looking at all the ripe fruits and giant coconuts it wouldn´t be very hard.
I have been vegetarian for 17 years and vegan for four but I have never shifted my lifestyle to a raw vegan diet for more than a couple of days.
The Universe connected me to Rob, a fruitarian, vegan and restaurant owner of a vegan place in Goa. Rob blew my mind away with all his knowledge about raw food and nutrition. I convinced him to come up with a workshop because this knowledge needs to be spread.
WHAT IS THE RAW TRANSITION WORKSHOP ABOUT ?
We will explain to you why the plant based diet is the most healthy form to eat and how it can heal from dis-eases, food allergies, acne, digestion problems and more. Rob will also give the nutritional and chemical explanations why fruits and vegetables are the most suitable food for humans. We will prepare 3 dishes with you together and enjoy the food for lunch with you in the group of the workshop.
We will talk about veganism for athletes and active people as most of us are afraid to lack energy and nutritions when transforming to a plant-based diet. We will talk about vegan diet or vegan lifestyle. Finishing the 3 hour program with questions and answers and recipe exchanges.
